Now. Before everybody starts to moan… We are not moving from the blog for good. The blog is staying… and looking a bit nicer I must say. But if you want to view new videos (and all of the old ones are there too) you need to visit earlythrasher.co.uk.
Once you’re on the new site, you’ll see our brand new video player on the front page, and links to various other pages, including a link back to this blog. So lets migrate everyone. There will still be daily updates on the blog, but no new video. We have moved the channel to a website, cos it just looks and works a fuck of a lot better.
You need to keep visiting the blog of course, and clicking the blip.tv links on the website. This is how we measure our ratings. Keep clicking! Everytime you visit earlythrasher.co.uk, our ratings will increase due to the brand new front page video player.
The new site has an archive of all the videos, making it easier for you to find the old vids, and the latest video plays automatically on the front page everytime.

We are so fucking stoked to announce some major changes to the channel. Things are literally opening up before our eyes here! Our ratings are pretty fucking solid now. We’re doing well. But we need to attract more. We need to expand. I want constant streaming on a home page. I want a cool looking website. I want 2 episodes posted every week.
And this is the exciting part. I’m getting it!
Glimpses of the future of The Channel can be seen right now. Early this morning I have been busy programming new pages on the sidebar of the blog. Now you can click “Popular Thrashisodes”, follow the link by clicking the video player, and have automatic streaming of all of the videos on the channel… constantly!
Our ambitions are going to mean some major changes around here. Hopefully for the better. We’re taking our simple format to new levels. Expanding the webovision, into our vision.
This relatively minor blog update is just the beginning. These advancements may well be leading us to abandoning the blog all together! Dont worry though. Its only going to improve the quality of your viewing. Change is good. Any problems and we can easily revert back to an old format. We’ll probably still keep a blog to be honest… just maybe not wordpress. Its a little cooky… but its statistics monitor is fucking great.
We shall be sticking with blip.tv, they rule.

Well… its been over a week since I even logged into the blog. I haven’t posted anything. I haven’t even logged on to vent. The reason? Not lack of activity behind the scenes thats for sure. I have spent the last 2 or 3 days collecting video footage for a 3 night special!
This Friday evening, the first of our 3 part series will be posted on the blog. Its follow-up on Saturday and its conclusive episode, on Sunday. So far, things are going really good.
After the 3 night special, we shall take another week off, and then emerge with an “In the studio” documentry series with my band. Fucking rights! So there is plenty on the way. The next three shows are shaping up good. Segments range from normal, to surreal. The plan is to make 6 more of these babies in September before the channel takes its first real break. I have to go to university you see.
So something which could easily have been abandoned has had new life breathed into it. Must say cheers to all my friends who have contributed (voluntarily or otherwise) and to you guys for watching. Post some comments fer fucks sake!

No video today. Definately no video today. Maybe tomorrow when I have some more material. Last night the following plan proved too much to handle:
- Get stupidly drunk.
- Film it.
Only half of the plan was accomplished. I’ll let you deduce which half it was from the lack of footage and excess of headache. So I took a trip to Marc Mallan’s house with a bottle of my finest vodka and proceeded to drink until the wee hours whilst watching a mixture of top notch music dvds and Curb Your Enthusiasm series four. What a great show.
Today is a little less eventful than the past week. A band practice with my other band then home. Should be quick and painless. I need to borrow Jord’s guitar though. I’ll go in half an hour. I dont want to move too fast. I’ll probably do myself a mischief.
I wouldn’t like that.
While I’m here I’ll take a few moments to explain about how the blog is going to work as far as organization is concerned. If you want video clips only, its best to click on “The Channel” to the left of the page. It’ll be a lot easier than sifting through monthly archives once lots of content is posted. Apply the same reasoning to the other headings to the left, and that’s how things will be organized. Aren’t you clever? Yes.

And here we have it! The first (and probably last) post on this brand new page. What will follow, is the realization of one of my wildest dreams in a blogging format. I hope you will stick around for this extravaganza.
Thrasher is the (pseudo)name, blogging, it would appear, is the game. Well. According to the droves of mundane, self-indulgent assholes who insist on posting material which should have been resigned to a public toilet decades ago (had the medium been realized back then, of course.)
