Make something like this guy.

Hello. I haven’t blogged for a while. I’m taking a little break from everything this week. Its fun. I just get up whenever I want. Run about 6 miles and have quit drinking. Feels cathartic. I actually have not felt so positive, or energised for about a year or two. It helps when the sun starts to shine and they days are getting lighter. I cannot believe its 7pm and it is broad daylight.
I went for a walk through the beautiful woods today. Steve Real told me of a good spot he used to go to as a kid (even though he lived in brooklyn :S – strange guy.) I almost took the camera but decided its good just to listen to your favourite record and walk around the trees by yourself in the sun. I used to do that a lot a couple of years ago. Think I’m going to start doing that again.
I love the magic forest. Maybe I’ll visit the treehouse I used to play in as a kid tomorrow.
Not sure when we’ll have new stuff up here. Kind of need to take a break. Catch up on some books. Podcast for tear it down more.
Got back into coding last night. I do enjoy it a lot. I think all I really want to do in life is run, code and watch diggnation. If the world had no problems, and I was free to do what I pleased… I think that’s what I’d be doing. Or working with animals. Call me cheesy but it is true.
Ash and Jay have 2 new cats. I re-named one of them Michael. I think Michael is a hilarious name for a cat. He is very timid and hides under the couch. I am trying to befriend him… but it takes two Michael. It takes two.
How has your day been?

The Lawrence Arms “Oh! Calcutta!” is one of the best albums I have ever heard.
Digging this song today more than anything else in my record collection. What a tune. Hope to capture something like that next time we record. My gosh. There’s a beauty to this music. Its passionate and mature. A thundering bass, and a thumping kick and a lushous guitar. No high pitched dousch! (hi mom!… ahem).
And thats why I like music better than art/film/food/drink/the channel. That aint no joke.
Went to see There will be blood yesterday. Hillariously and amazingly good. Just not as good as the larry arms.

Hi everyone.
Now despite appearances, I had a great time at Indy tonight. Today was cleansing. I feel like I have been going insane for about a month… and really, its the same reason that I’ve felt this way before.
When you immerse yourself in global events which are nothing short of terrifying, depressing and downright frightening daily, and you focus on this stuff all day long… letting it shape your daily actions, letting it become the motivation and direction in life… the stuff can start to drive you crazy. I personally felt the need to party, experiment and go nuts last year around July, after attempting to fully focus on political action and the gaining of knowledge to equip myself and further my views for about a year.
I recently felt that same, crazy feeling again.
Reality is a difficult thing to deal with, when you have evolved in a comfortable western lifestyle like myself. Blurring reality by drinking is (in the immortal words of Five Knuckle) a “Fake Escape”. You arent achieveing anything by blotting shit out. You are post poning. You are hoping the worlds problems disappear while you momentarily get some peace from the voices that constantly scream “you are not doing all you can… you are a hypocrit, you are not doing anything worthwhile or exciting, and you never will”.
Just talked to a taxi driver about a very importany book by war correspondant Chris Hedges. Pick up “War is a Force that Gives us Meaning” today. It is a huge eye opener.
Ask Marc Mallan.
Day 1 of not being an arsehole, not being a drunk, facing reality and being a more open and sincere human begins tomorrow.
This is the sort of thing that’s on my mind when I go to bars. I am not a loser.
P.S – We will be back on the air at some point.

We wont be on the air today.
Third day of drinking and then some recovery. I have gone mad.
Cheers for the advertising Jay. We do appreciate it.
Check out some of our past episodes like this beauty. This is what its like to be in Uni Wrong:
Sing Along Everybody.
The best thing i ever saw on TV was that S.Q (securite quebec) cop catching a bullet with his teeth.
Condolence, Madame Canadiana, but your husband was a fucking (stuck) pig.
But this song’s not about some romantic account of history.
It’s not about martyrs or mythos or heroes or burnings-in-effigy.
It’s about a native kid flipping her lid just trying to keep some self-respect intact.
It’s about an oka the size of a fist in resistance and a will to fight back…
And the girls at work, they still deny their racism.
They claim tolerance for all.
But it seems the degree of (only) racial slurs is their gauge,
(And it defines tolerance as hate).
And there’s 27 million “girls-at-work” here.
Imagine fighting that for 500 years.
And “golly-gee! how valient!” How the white oppressor makes allowance for calculated gestures of insurgence (all tightly tethered to their purses/purpose).
Oka had this orchestra(tion) aborted.
Oka fucked their rules to choose a future self-determined
And i, for one, support it…
…and the smartest thing i think i ever said: “if a Kevin Kostner Cavalry is your means to their end, then the struggle is dead.
Why do we pretend that our approval is upon what they depend?

Thought it about right to thank our pals at Blip.tv. These guys are making it possible. Their website is truly amazing and with close to zero downtime in the time we have hosted with them. Their service is very customisable and embraces web 2.0 standards brilliantly. You can program their nifty flash player to display popular episodes, play lists, single episodes, or even RSS video feeds.
Can youtube do any of that?
I have been so happy with blip.tv that I have fequently thought about sending a nice email to them. I may just do that today.
These guys let you upload your high quality content, control the license on your content, program a show player which has no Blip.tv branding in sight, don’t restrict the length of the video or encode it to look crappy, automatically distribute your video to loads of searches such as AOL video, lycos, yahoo, splashcast and much more. They even provide you with your own RSS Feed.
They let you control advertising and allow you to profit off you videos with pre-roll ad systems, post roll, and little invideo pop ups.
And they do it all for free.
If you want great video hosting… choose blip.tv.

We have had a few upload issues. We went on late yesterday because of my hangover… then we tried all afternoon to upload the show, and because of its length, the browser uploader, and FTP upload both kept cutting out. As a result, we recorded a shorter show today… about 8 minutes instead of 13/14, and then downloaded a desktop app from Blip to see if that worked. It does work! So we can continue doing long shows. The new episode should be up and online soon.
We are taking a couple of days off from the morning show. I will be back on Saturday. I need to take some time to catch up on the book I’m reading. Do some work. Record some stuff for Tear it Down. I think I will go crazy if I edit anymore video. Its like an overload of me on the channel. I hate myself. I’m and idiot… so actually maybe I wont be back on saturday. Maybe we’ll just wait for some new shows that dont involve me.
I’m going insane.

Hi everybody! Despite appearances, “The Morning Show” is going to be airing today! We’re exporting now and hope to have everything uploaded and streaming in an hour or so. I was a little… under the weather this morning. You will understand why when you watch the show. Its embarrassing but funny.
UPDATE 5PM – Upload problems are causing a delay. We will be on ASAP.
Skype:
I was wrong yesterday. You all need to search and add early.thrasher
Skype is very confusing. We are figuring this out.
Enjoy the show today when we finally make upload. Tomorrows show will be online by 11am we promise!
