This looks very nice doesnt it? Just spent the day thinking about how much better the website could look compared my efforts on wednesday. This new version now displays the latest 3 blog posts, and means you can scroll away without the video disappearing off the page. Clever. Built with scary layers instead of div tags this time. I don’t usually do that. Had a helping hand from Derek, lets just put it that way.
I made it look pretty working class the more I look at it. A nice run-down housing estate in the background. If I can work it out, I’ll make it so a different image appears each time you visit… to give a spontaneous change of mood. Think that might be a bit beyond me at the minute though.
It looks amazing in Firefox, and okay in Explorer. There seems to be a vertical and horizontal scrollbar on the site in the IE browser. Dont know what’s causing that. I shall endevour to find out anyway.
Its nice not to be restricted by space. Version 2.1 was 900 pixels in height so I had to make sure I didn’t go over that otherwise… I’d run out of website. Not anymore! Anyway. Thats all I wanted to say. More tomorrow or something.
P.S – This blog is for the future. Buy a high res monitor and download the Firefox browser. (Would never have typed that sentence last year… but I am converted.)

Hey everybody. I’ve been pretty drunk for the past few days. Dont feel so great its fair to say. I think I need to take a bit more care of myself from now on really. Still have a good time, but just take care of myself a bit more. Eat better. You know the drill. Everyone feels this way at least once a month I tend to think. Got a long break coming up from university. Gonna have a nice break, catch up on some work I missed. Write lots of new material. Some really great shit. I’m looking forward to it immensley and cant wait to start practicing it/learning it with the band.
Had a lot of band practices. One today. One yesterday. Then I’ve got one on wednesday, friday, saturday… then a gig on monday. Pretty fucking busy right now. Need to focus on getting the new songs together though. Its the thing I’m most excited about.
Hadn’t seen Mallan in a while. Ran into him in Jamesons the other day. That was a lot of fun. Had a nice chat about some of the books I’d been buying. Yeah all of my books arrived. Really fucking into the new Chris Hedges book. Not just saying that cuz you’re supposed to. I actually thoroughly enjoy his style of writing… even though I occasionally get annoyed by… lack of citation? Blanket statements? I dont know. I think its just me being an asshole. Sometimes I just think some things he says aren’t very quantifiable. But anyway. He’s an excellent author, and clearly a right on dude… and I’m loving his work right now.
If you’re reading this on the .co.uk then I’ll be making a page where you can view the past 10 or so blog posts. Trying to stear people away from wordpress as much as possible. Got some tweaking to do but I much prefer the style of this website. Relaxed. Intelligent (ha!) and with occasional video. New video – Encounter – Coming soon. John Goundry is doing some visual FX.
