The Channel is now based at http://www.earlythrasher.co.uk
Hey everybody. I did some experimenting yesterday with a live format. Things are working but still a little shoddy. This is something we never could have done if we were operating from the blog still. WordPress does not like embedding videos. Not at all.
Nice to see people still visit the blog to read my daily digest. Had a bit of a change of presentation here again today. Reverted back to the old style but added our new logo. Looking good.
Yeah so this live thing is just crazy. I’m going to be on air at 8pm tonight, taking a few phonecalls and generally talking to people on the internet. We got about 10 people watching last night. Now here’s my problem. We got 10 people, and I was being very very (very) entertaining. Talking all of the time. Taking phonecalls… and some idiots… were sitting in silence with music on… and getting about 50 viewers. Now I dont know if its me who’s the problem, or the viewers. Only joking guys haha, its probably me. Maybe its cos we’re so new here. Maybe I shouldnt even compare us to other shows. I dont think any other shows on BlogTV have the same ethic or approach as us. Just to keep the ball rolling and have some fun!
Maybe I’ll have some drinks tomorrow before the show
Tune in Tuesdays and Fridays at 8pm to watch us. Go to earlythrasher.co.uk and click live.
I have to finish the script for Encounters today, and get all of my ideas for our shorts finished. Next week we’ll start to shoot encounters and shoot one of our shorts. The following week we’ll shoot more Encounters and another short. The third week we’ll make a cartoon and finish shooting Encounters… and the 4th week, Encounters will have its premiere!
More updates tomorrow gang. Tune in tonight!

Remember we now reside at:
http://www.earlythrasher.co.uk
For the most part anyway. Our blog is still here for daily grind and exclusive ramblings. I think I’m gonna need to open the next couple blogs like that… just all of our visitors get the gist.
Its an exciting time. The month of September will be bringing you 2 short films, one full-length an one cartoon. Filming begins immediately.
As I’ve mentioned before, the last case is now screening on the website. This has fast become our highest rated show! Check it out on the archives page, or stay tuned to the front page to view the whole thing full-screen!
T0day, I want to have a general idea of my 2 cinematic shorts finished, the script for Encounters and to get a start on the animated cartoon. First though, I need to run to Sunderland to get some keys cut for a new band.
Check back soon guys. Go watch the Encounter trailer I made in 2004 on the front page of http:www.earlythrasher.co.uk now.
Everybody. The face has changed. A new era is here. Take note:
http://www.earlythrasher.co.uk
Now. Before everybody starts to moan… We are not moving from the blog for good. The blog is staying… and looking a bit nicer I must say. But if you want to view new videos (and all of the old ones are there too) you need to visit earlythrasher.co.uk.
Once you’re on the new site, you’ll see our brand new video player on the front page, and links to various other pages, including a link back to this blog. So lets migrate everyone. There will still be daily updates on the blog, but no new video. We have moved the channel to a website, cos it just looks and works a fuck of a lot better.
You need to keep visiting the blog of course, and clicking the blip.tv links on the website. This is how we measure our ratings. Keep clicking! Everytime you visit earlythrasher.co.uk, our ratings will increase due to the brand new front page video player.
The new site has an archive of all the videos, making it easier for you to find the old vids, and the latest video plays automatically on the front page everytime.
More updates tomorrow!

We are so fucking stoked to announce some major changes to the channel. Things are literally opening up before our eyes here! Our ratings are pretty fucking solid now. We’re doing well. But we need to attract more. We need to expand. I want constant streaming on a home page. I want a cool looking website. I want 2 episodes posted every week.
And this is the exciting part. I’m getting it!
Glimpses of the future of The Channel can be seen right now. Early this morning I have been busy programming new pages on the sidebar of the blog. Now you can click “Popular Thrashisodes”, follow the link by clicking the video player, and have automatic streaming of all of the videos on the channel… constantly!
Our ambitions are going to mean some major changes around here. Hopefully for the better. We’re taking our simple format to new levels. Expanding the webovision, into our vision.
This relatively minor blog update is just the beginning. These advancements may well be leading us to abandoning the blog all together! Dont worry though. Its only going to improve the quality of your viewing. Change is good. Any problems and we can easily revert back to an old format. We’ll probably still keep a blog to be honest… just maybe not wordpress. Its a little cooky… but its statistics monitor is fucking great.
We shall be sticking with blip.tv, they rule.
Check back soon gang. Exciting times.

Hello everyone. It is an exciting day for web-o-vision. Its very (very) early on Tuesday and we have some great news. Today we welcome film maker Jonathan Honnor to the Channel. Boundaries are broken in this feature-length epic portrayal of love, lust, revenge and death.
Yes, Jonny has been described as:
“A new-age poet, walking in a field of sewage and still making films which change lives”… by his mate Lee.
Its a classic “maverick cop who takes the law into his own hands finally gets his comeuppance” story, and we’re very proud to present its world premier! Enjoy “The Last Case”.

Yesterday… was fucking bliss. We put Frigits, Exit Evangeline and High Risk Existence on in our practice room and it went great! We were so worried that management would come down, there wouldn’t be enough space, we wouldn’t make enough money and other bands would be in downstairs. Totally the opposite occurred. It was really really fun and the bands were great. Everyone in attendance was really cool. So nice to have an intimate gig with a few mates and some top acts!
They were such good guys too. Hilarious. Their ghost stories are top notch! Some of the funnest guys I’ve ever met. We took the party back to my house since I’m home alone this week and the band crashed there. Such a great bunch of people. Really positive. I feel great today.
They just followed me back to Sunderland City Centre in their van. We met up with Dan, swapped some records and gave them some more money to help get them to Edinburgh. I hope they have a good tour up in Scotland. They are ace.
Tomorrow we have a new feature-length movie to distribute on “The Channel”. Very exciting. A fiction piece called “The Last Case”. Thrilling stuff. I even have a cameo. Check back soon gang.

Hello everyone. I see some of you have been searching us in search engines today. Thats cool. Our statistics are pretty fucking good right now people. I don’t know whether its the sheer volume of content I’ve posted over the past month… but I must be doing something right. Remember to tell all your friends about us here though. Send out some myspace bulletins or something.
Not hugely busy today, but still occupied. Building a new website for my band. Its tough but looking a lot better than it did before.
So its our one month anniversary here at “The Channel”. I’m fearful that the amount of videos will dry up as soon as I get back to University. I’m gonna make a push to try hard and succeed this year. Even though school is bullshit, I think of it as something which has definitely improved my ability to argue points and I’d consider it really cool to achieve such an academic feat. I guess I’ll just try to make video posts whenever I can. Aside from that “The Channel” will probably become more of a daily journal than a “Channel”. Hopefully I’ll continue to make videos. I’m optimistic that I’ll be able to keep it up if not at a slightly reduced frequency.
Gotta run. Need to record my podcast. Tune in at Tear it Down Collective. Remember all past video posts are logged in archives under “The Channel”. Click that link to view em all.

Here it is! I cant believe it! Its finally had its official release after 3 or 4 years of completion. Pretty cool. This is actually a different cut to the original. The reason? I couldn’t get the entire version off the disk, so had to edit together 2 versions. One was the version which appeared on DVD, the other was the first cut, re-edited and squashed together. So a slightly different feel to the ending… but I think you get the jist. I think the ending is a lot more reflective of the mood of the movie now.
Back in the old days when there was no youtube or google video (or our personal hosts blip.tv) it was really difficult to get video out there. Everyone was still on Dial-up and it was hard for us to send DVD’s out… boy have things changed!
You know when you realize you don’t suit dark hair? I’m glad that day came early.
Potentially another feature length coming soon, as well as a cartoon. Check back for more daily here at Early Thrasher: The Channel. 30 minutes of sheer sub-standard film making should keep you entertained for now though right? Cool. I really really need to sleep.

Thats right. We are proud to announce the first official distribution deal! No, not more Riverside Chats! Its our first feature film!
Those of you who have known me for a long time will know that about 4 years ago I filmed a feature-length film (well… a 20 minute film) entitled “Buttnik Slasher 2″. We are pleased to announce that we will be streaming it in its entirety on The Channel this week. When? Who knows. We’re having a few technical difficulties in getting the files off a DVD and onto my hard drive. Hopefully this will be resolved today. It may end up on the Channel tomorrow! (depending on how drunk I get today).
So check back for that! Today’s plan: Go to see Steeve and Rich. Get the new Bad Religion album (an actual copy not, not a download), get wasted and try to sort out my website/blog. Sound good? Does to me.
Laters chewy teeth.

Hello everybody. How nice it is to wake up and not have to think about going somewhere or doing something. Today I have sat at home, playing Sims 2. Fucking rights. I cant even get on with any web building, cos I’m waiting for Cresshole to help me out with some graphic design.
The only plans I have for the rest of the day (except hitting up Sims 2 again in about 30 minutes) are to watch the John Pilger movie I taped yesterday, and take my parents to the airport. Then organize some partys.
I cant fucking wait till our tracks get back from Jase now. Its such an anti-climax when you’ve spent 2 months building up to recording, 2 action packed days recording, then you get home and have nothing. Not even intangible patterns of sound. Bummer. I’m gonna text Jase with my email address probably on Thursday. That way it keeps us fresh in his mind over the weekend. I work like that. Strange psychological theories which keep me marginally (in)sane.
Anyway, I have some pretty exciting news for the blog… but I’ll keep that old chestnut a secret for now. Check back tomorrow to find out what we’re planning on doing.
